Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angeline Guidi Longo. She was a homemaker and former volunteer at St. Peter’s Hospital. Her husband Joseph T. Belcastro, predeceased her in November of 2004. She was the mother of Susan J. Gerling (Donald); grandmother of Gregory and Lisa Gerling and late infant Jennifer Gerling; sister of the late Lawrence Longo; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, gt grandnephews and one gt grandniece also survive her. Funeral services Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 9:00 am from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to the Parish of Mater Christi (Formerly St. Catherine of Siena) at 9:30 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
