Obituary:
Louise E. “Mickey” (Cotter) Crouch - Entered into eternal peace surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2010 at the age of 93.
Daughter of Horace L. and Josephine M. (Menard) Cotter - She was born and raised in Albany’s West End and was a life long parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.

Mickey attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and graduated from the Cathedral Academy in 1934. Throughout her life she held her family, friends and her faith in God in a special place in her heart.

She was married to Robert J. Crouch on January 24, 1936 and began her family. Bob passed away unexpectedly in 1962 and after his untimely death Mickey was forced to join the labor force and went to work full time for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance where she worked in various units. She retired from the state on May 20, 1982.

After moving from her family home she was a resident at the Beltrone Assisted Living Center, Loudonville Adult Home and ultimately the Teresian House from where she passed.




Mickey was predeceased by her brother, Horace (Harry) Cotter of N.Y.C., son Robert J. Crouch and grandson Brian M. Crouch.

Survivors include: her sister Jeannette Urbanczyk, sister-in-law Eileen Cotter Corrado.
Daughters - Louise “Mickey” (Charles) Cronin, Barbara (Edward) Smith, Jean Marie (Michael)Cole, Joanne (Robert) Doherty of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl and a son - Leonard (Dawn) Crouch.

She is survived by 17 Grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and would have soon become a great, great grandmother for the first time.

She also is survived by those “special people” and friends at the Teresian House who cared so deeply for her and her them. To each of you we owe our unending love and gratitude.

Funeral services Saturday January 30, 2010 at 9:45 from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 10:30 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, January 29, 2010 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
